Films

In my films, I use visual storytelling to bring complex health topics to life, making them accessible, relatable, and engaging. Whether it's telling my own story or patient stories, my focus is always on creating narratives that connect on a human level.

With a background in healthcare design and a passion for social impact, I approach film as a way to bridge the gap between medical jargon and real human experiences. Each project is driven by a desire to inform, inspire, and spark meaningful change.

1 of 100 Stories: Martino Sclavi’s Story

This short animation illustrates Martino Sclavi’s unique way of narrating his experience with brain tumours, symbolised through a finch. Martino’s book, The Finch In My Brain, is a powerful read, and this animation captures the essence of his story. Created using 300 hand-painted frames, this video is part of my larger project, 100 Stories of Cancer, aimed at promoting open conversations about cancer through storytelling.
